Got 12 fish a couple weeks back, 6 Kamaka rainbows and 6 Diamond Tetras. 5 days after purchase they all started to die off before my brother who raises fish told us the little white dots on the fish were the Ick and we needed to start treating them immediately. Ended up with 5 Rainbows dying and 2 Tetras. We know it wasn't our tank as we already had a couple fish in the tank for at least a month and they were fine, luckily the ick didn't kill our original fish. Highly recommend quarantining any purchase if adding to an existing tank. The 2 stars is for the very small refund window of 48 hrs for freshwater fish. Refund policy just seems a bit small when others offer a much larger window. 50 to 60 bucks down the drain because they won't refund beyond 2 days. Edit, another day another group of fish fall to the ick. The entire purchase has perished due to the infection present from the very beginning. Edited down to 1

The fish there seemed very happy, I saw lots of bright colored fish that weren't glass surfing, they weren't just in one huddle in a corner and then the reptiles all looked beautiful, I saw this one snake that was absolutely stunning. The prices for stuff is way less expensive than I expected, for the plants & driftwood especially. I will definitely be going back to Aquatic Environments for more stuff.

I’m seeing some negative reviews and those are so far from true this place is AMAZING. All of the animals are SO Well taken care of all the staff is so helpful and polite I’ve been here lots of times and it amazes me every time to see everything running so amazingly the betta fish are BEAUTIFUL no fin rot, swim bladder or anything there so vibrant and this place is truly ethical with there animals. Don’t go to those big scale pet stores COME HERE!! Everything is so amazingly priced too! Thank you guys for everything you do for this community.

I understand things happen sometimes, and it’s not always a stores fault, but this is just too ridiculous not to post. When we left the store, we drove an hour back home to find that one of the fish had died upon arrival. We thought it was just the stress of the journey, so we didn’t think much. We acclimated the fish, and put them into our cycled 55 with 8 mollies and 8 tetra. A WEEK into it we’ve lost 3, and probably one more as he is heavy breathing and sinking. All of our other fish are fine. There have been no dramatic changes, I test the water weekly and do a water change when needed. If one hadn’t died on the way home (which we always acquire our fish from a ways away, and never have died during travel) I would chalk it up to the parameters in our tank. But this is just ridiculous. Almost every single fish we bought from that store died a week into it. We noticed that in more than one tanks in the store itself that there’s a floater somewhere amongst them, one that died. I get it, that’s gonna happen from time to time, but not at the rate that it happens in this store. For me, losing 4 in a week is not fun. I do not appreciate the unfriendliness from the owners either, the
